Greatly enjoyed our rooms with large bathroom. The staff were reasonably good, well-mannered, did all they can for a good stay. The location couldn't be more convenient in a romantic 16th century manor house.

The booked room was beautifully decorated with sofa. Extras like an electric kettle, central heating, and a TV set were appreciated. Attentive staff and everything was really good.

The breakfast spread was a delight with homemade bread and local butter that kicked off my day right! Plus, the lovely decor of the place added a charming touch, not to mention the super comfy bed made it hard to leave.

The hotel has beautiful and traditional decor that feels modern too. Loved the comfy superior double room and nice access to the garden. Breakfast was delicious and a great deal, staff were super friendly and helpful. The smart tv in my room was a surprise! It has a lot of charming historical character.
only two things, the restaurant was closed for cleaning when i wanted dinner and the spa facilities were a bit limited.

The room was cozy with lovely decor and a really comfy bed. The patio doors opening to the garden were a nice touch. A few things could be better-like the water pressure in the shower and some maintenance issues in the bathroom. But honestly, the vibes were great overall.

As a grade 2 listed building the hotel is full of character with many interesting features and pleasant gardens
We did not receive the usual "welcome and have a nice stay, please let us know if there is anything you require during your stay..." If anything the staff were rather offhand and lacking in inter presonal skills. We asked for a blanket on two ocasions instead of the duvet but this did not appear. However the evening meal that we had was very enjoyable even if there was a scarcity of vegetables and the Gressingham duck sausage that was listed on the menu failed to put in an appearance on the plate. When questioned the waiter said that it was a typing error! Even though we had a large flat screen tv in our room this was situated in a narrow space at the bottom of the bed which made it very difficult to get around the bed.

The staff were very pleasant and attentive, the restaurant was very good for both dinner & breakfast.
In our room the size of the drawers was too small for most clothing other than underwear.

The staff were super friendly and helpful, the bed was comfy and the room was clean. Loved the lovely garden area outside to relax in, and the breakfast was pretty good too. The swimming pool was nice, we had it to ourselves for a while, chillin.
i thought the food this time wasn't as good as my last visit, and the price for the room seemed a bit high compared to others.

Interesting, cornery building full of strange twists and turns, staircases, corners etc. More than adequate pool and sauna. Not difficult to turn it on - and hot within minutes!
Only one vegetarian option (goat's cheese not likely to be a hit with vegetarian children) and no willingness to prepare anything else. We walked. And for carnivores like me, one rasher of bacon at breakfast! Come on.
